Stuff about Taiwan - Thanks Miles!
Happy New Year!
This is the first real break I've had from school since wintersession my Freshman year. in 2005 and its 2009! I'm so sick of college!
I'm planning on getting an internship this summer in Washington DC, through my school. I think I'm pretty qualified, and apparently not many students apply at our school for this program so I have a good chance. i'm also applying for study abroad and for the Gilman scholarship. FUN! and researching for my thesis, double FUN!
Dr. Lin talked with Dr. Gispen and now they're conspiring to send me off to Taiwan for a semester instead of letting me go to Korea. I think its ridiculous of her! How can she do this! Its not her business or her life. She said to me that she understood I didn't really want to follow through with Chinese and so it didn't matter if i went to China, but now she's talking to my advisor about how I should go to Taiwan?? wtf. this probably doesn't make sense to most readers, but anyway, i want to study at korea university in english, cause its more useful than studying chinese language (which i've been doing since 2005!!!!) in Taiwan when I don't want to incorporate chinese into my career if I can help it.
Happy Part:
New years was pretty fun, I have cute pics of me and Nick kissing at Murff's bar, and we were all goofing around. I really should lose weight, i can't get drunk as easily now! hahaha
I made nick not kiss me from 8pm on, so we had a nice kiss at midnight :) it was a good idea!
Hyejeong came back a few days ago, she's been so sweet, I'm glad she's back. I think she must have really relaxed in Korea and had fun.
Varum and Vivian are coming back on Jan 15th, and Alecia is coming back on the 19th, and i think school starts on the 21st, I'm not ready for school again!!! I just want a jOB!!
